Camera detects movement
The webcam identifies body landmarks such as shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles.
A private AI movement companion for real-time yoga feedback, calm guidance, and mindful home practice.
The gap
Many people follow videos, apps, or self-guided routines, but they cannot easily tell whether their shoulders, hips, knees, or elbows are aligned in the way the pose expects.
PosePath is being built for the moment between instruction and self-awareness: the quiet need for simple, supportive guidance while you move.
The approach
PosePath uses pose estimation to detect key body landmarks, interpret joint angles in context, and translate that into calm visual and spoken cues.
See alignment feedback while you are moving, not only after a session ends.
Clear body-part cues instead of judgment, scoring, or overwhelming metrics.
Designed around normal laptop webcams, quiet sessions, and private rooms.
How it works
The webcam identifies body landmarks such as shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles.
The system interprets joint angles and maps them to pose-specific guidance ranges.
Visual heatmap-style cues and short audio prompts help you refine movement without breaking focus.
Current MVP
The current PosePath prototype runs locally as a Python desktop demo. It connects webcam input, MediaPipe pose tracking, joint angle analysis, heatmap-style overlays, and German audio feedback.
Privacy-first direction
PosePath is being shaped around a local-first product direction: movement analysis should be useful without unnecessary data collection.
Processing runs locally in the prototype, no runtime upload of camera images was found, and video is not saved by default. A complete privacy concept, consent flow, and GDPR documentation are still part of the product work ahead.
Who it is for
Understand basic alignment cues without needing to guess from a video alone.
Add a guidance layer to quiet, self-guided movement sessions at home.
Practice with clearer body awareness while staying away from medical or therapy claims.
